Cerezo Osaka holds on for 3-2 win over Tokushima

6/20/2016

Kenyu Sugimoto inspired the team and Cerezo Osaka clinched a 3-2 victory over Tokushima Vortis.

The 23-year-old winger scored his second goal of the season in the 25th minute. Cerezo controlled the game as Bruno Meneghel converted a debatably awarded penalty kick after the break.

Souza beautifully slotted a free kick into the net in the 73rd minute though Tokushima gave some scares to Cerezo's defense.

Bruno Meneghel picked up a yellow card in 76 minutes, and he will miss the next match against Tokyo Verdy due to yellow card accumulation.
